What beer are you drinking now? #3773

It got rather chilly last night, but I hear birds chirping and that is hopeful. This one is Pulpy and Moon Rover recipe combined, not sure how 7% and 7.8% turns to 8%, but whatever tasty just the same. Cheers all.

Yep, I can detect pineapple on the nose and in the taste but that's about it. No coconut, toasted or otherwise, no rye. No suggestion of an IPA, NE or otherwise. I could easily make a comparison between products of my urinary tract and the quality of this, especially as a NEIPA, but I'll take the high road and simply say "Caveat emptor". Rating 3.19, rDev -14.5%.

OK, if you insist - Date your cans, you cheap bastards!

I picked this up in the BIG IPA PACK at Costco for 31.99 for the case, which includes my current favorite Torpedo, and also included Atomic Torpedo and Hop Bullet. Tastes as good as I remembered!

Good morning BAs! Started this cool 54° day with Revolution’s “Straight Jacket” BBA Barleywine:



Canned 10/27/22. Poured at 54°. Velvety sweet caramel, boozy bourbon, plums and sugared raisins. Mild bitter hop middle. Lots of heat from 15% abv. An awesome British style BBA Barleywine!

No alcohol yesterday. Jury returned verdict at 6pm. Huge victory for my team. Then drove from Tally to St. Pete…Didn’t get home until almost 11pm. Lots to do today….beer exchange with pal at Hawthorne Bottle Shoppe’s 6th Anniversary party this afternoon. I hope to post some pics…we will see…Cheers and have a great Saturday y’all!

Guggman Haus Czech Pilsner (Saaz). Had to burn some time before a wedding this afternoon and have wanted to check this spot out for some time now. Nice floral spice from the Saaz with a clean, bready malt profile. A quality Czech Pils.
