    Were you able to finish the bottle on your own? I split this with a friend and the aroma was amazing! But I couldn't finish a bottle on my own.

    Merry Christmas all. I've had a relaxing 4-day weekend with the family in our new home, enjoying lots of tasty Belgian Christmas ales along with way too much rich food. Wish it was like this all year. Well, except for all the rain.

    Finishing up a wonderful Christmas day with this. It certainly isn't a bad beer, actually pretty darn good, but having had Hardywood's Gingerbread Stout (the inspiration for this SA beer) it just isn't in the same ballpark.
