    Been a few years since I've had this
    2016 Bottle and the shit aged surprisingly well for a coffee beer. None of that pepper shit here.
    Tastes like Crushing Mass just a tad less sweeter which is a plus IMO
    Proper Glassware,too .FTW

    Normally their stuff is full-bodied and not artificial tasting. Very disappointed! I have two more, but I'm not sure if I want to open another one right now. :angry:

    Their stouts are mostly pastry and not for me, but several of their Une Annee beers, and standard IPAs and other non pastry stouts brewed under Hubbards Cave are also good to solid.

    They started off like Monkish as a Belgian Style Brewer (plus Wild Ales / Saisons), but they are more widely known at this point for pastry stouts after they expanded their distribution reach.

    i knew they had an affiliation with that Une Annee but totally forgot about that. i mostly see pastry stouts and IPAs from them around central IL.

    I'm familiar with they stuff and was a fan of their single hop IPA line. Seems like all they peddle to us is diabetes shit now though. I'm just pushing BMBCLTs buttons

    Hubbard's Cave El Zacatón - 12% ABV Imperial Stout fermented on toasted oak with almond flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon sticks, vanilla beans, Ancho chiles, Guajillo chiles and Habanero chiles.

    This is really good, but a little too spicy for me.

    whats the price on that 4 pack of tweak?

    Im starting to think that Coffee Porters do coffee better than stouts. Beachwoods Mocha Machine and Smog Citys Coffee Porter are outstanding in the coffee department compared to most stouts

    Prices are high in PA, this was $23. Willittized is $14.5 for reference. Sometimes a lower ABV seems to help the coffee shine.
