Good morning and have a good week Advocates.
I'll start with a review of a new and unpublished beer, as usual I'll steal some space since putting a picture without spending a few words on what you're drinking is not something for me.
Indeed, I like reading what many of you write and I think it's the most useful coa for this community that everyone can do.

Birrificio Lambrate (Milano, ITA) - LBR STRATA MOSAIC - India Pale Ale (5,8%)

33 cl can bought online (€4.40), I bought two.
On the bottom of the can, the date by which consumption is preferable is indicated: 04/25/2023.
It is part of the "LBR" series, an acronym for Lambrate Beer Revolution, of which each new beer is a different "one shot" from the previous one.
In this hops STRATA (a recent variety of hops originating in Oregon) and MOSAIC (also American, a cross between the female of SIMCOE and the male of NUGGETS) were used.
On the nose citric notes (blood orange, mandarin).
Poured has a medium intense blond colour. Not entirely transparent, not entirely veiled.
Foam present but which quickly disappears by itself, despite having been poured in three times.
In the mouth medium body and perfect carbonation.
Flavors that get along very well with my personal tastes: I find the fruitiness of citrus fruits, especially bitter orange and grapefruit, but also more tropical notes of coconut and (perhaps) yuzu. Bitter finish, with no middle ground or "coverings": the fruitiness is dried out and a pleasant bitter note is left on the tongue.
This is a historic Italian producer who has made a name for himself above all with the production of Ipa and Double Ipa, not all on the same level for my personal tastes, but this one in particular is really successful: there are fruity notes that do not predominate and a bitter finish that gives satisfaction, all resting on a perfect body for a vertical drink also thanks to a lively and lively carbonation even in the can (something that is not always found, indeed sometimes beers compared to kegs and bottles are rather flat as in the case of the Birrificio Crak, for example, which makes excellent beers but in the can they are a bit empty).

There are many differences with the NEIPAs, here the sense of fruitiness is not predominant, but a rapid path that leads to a nice bitter finish, not exaggerated, but in any case without compromise: I appreciate it.
    A lot.

Happy to share a little Virginia beer love and glad we got a chance to get together so I could hand it to you. Tell your family it was a pleasure to share an eventful meal (eventually) with them.

The draft and to go list at Churchkey in DC is absolutely killer and everyone has a day they wished they could re-do.

Good day BAs! Thanks @Jack_14 for opening the bar today and for your excellent review!
Currently 43 F/ 6 C and a bit cloudy as we begin to gird our grids for the postulated "snow event" later this week. Mrs. Lizard will be at a quilting coven out in the boonies about 50 klicks away when it hits and I might get to use my snow blower for the first time this winter.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

A hazy DIPA with a weak generic citrus aroma and flavor. Not bad, just weak. Rating 3.24, rDev -17.1%

Good day/ morning BAs! The floor tile guy has been here since 8:30am (Josh lives next door). Dogs and chores taken care of… coffee on the patio - Four Peaks Brewing Co.’s Kühl Beans, a vanilla coffee porter:

Best By 3/9/23. Poured at 54°. Deep ruby/ brown with good clarity; fast fizzy khaki head disappeared immediately leaving no cap, brief ring and no lace; no legs. Some vanilla in nose, but mostly malt. Mild caramel malt; a whisper of vanilla; no discernible coffee; a tiny bit of roast on the back end. Light body; thin watery feel; light carbonation; no warmth from 8.2% abv. Overall, drinks light for an imperial porter; nothing off here, just not much to talk about other than the lack of coffee.

    3.5 | 3.75 | 3.75 | 3.5 | 3.75
    Score: 3.71 rDev -5.8%

Beautiful 66° morning, sunny without a cloud in the sky…the dogs are lounging in the sun while Josh pulls up the old carpet and addresses the original 1958 terrazzo floor in our “office”; a pic of last week’s resurfaced spare bedroom floor, with special guest appearance from Tui:

Good morning, BAs, and thanks @Jack_14 for the excellent kickoff to today's thread!

My breakfast beer of choice today is a familiar one:

    Lagunitas Willettized

I find it's consistently smoother and more approachable than any of the KBS variants (or OG KBS, for that matter), but it's still got a pretty potent kick to it.

    Cheers!

This is a pretty low ABV beer to have after Virtus' surprising loss to Brescia at the cup final. I was expecting you to be downing an imperial stout or something heavier. But that is the beauty of knockout games. Hopefully virtues does better at the remaining 2 competitions.

You know, sometimes you just need some corned beef hash and some eggs.
