For clarity, is the app called shop or is this something related to Shopify? (or whatever the service is you have to use to checkout if SP).

 

i think it is just called shop.

Frustrating to see for those of us who have been waiting years to get into lc and would actually drink the beers

 

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm fully in the camp that people can do whatever they want with a bottle when it's theirs. I hate bourbon, so I don't trade for it, but for some of these people who actually enjoy drinking, this bottle is one of the few that will actually pull decent brown water. And if you're a local who has been able to drink as much if you want for 3 weeks, you might prefer bourbon now. I get the frustration from people, but at the same time, its kinda their bottle to do whatever with. Thanks for coming into my TED talk. Now please, can we release coffee shop vibes?

i agree though @jmlhd7 , as long are you’re not outright selling then the bottle is yours to do what you want with.

For me, the LC flipping isn't a huge problem, it's just tough to stomach SP explaining it as a tight-knit group of loyal customers when a small minority of them are blatantly profiting off of it. (Even if not selling outright, they're still gaining value.) That being said, there is ~100% chance I would feel differently if I were a member.

Similar to the days of proxy/no-proxy pandemic releases, I appreciate what SP does to try and spread the wealth around, but seeing the 'haves' in LC farm their Golden Tickets is always going to irk the 'have-nots'

 

it definitely seems like the days of LC being a “tight knit” community are over… but you are always going to have those people in memberships that are looking to profit. sucks, but that’s just the way it is.

 

I believe he prefers three fingers of Glenlivet, with a little bit of pepper and some cheese.
