Been on BA for a while. My interests have vastly changed over that period. I'm from STL, home to many great breweries. I love to explore new breweries whenever I travel and I'm currently obsessed with beer lists. I have ticked 48/50 Untapped highest rated beers. I just need KBBS 19 and Good Morning (yeah not gonna happen). I'm 8 shy from the BA Top 250 (have 3 incoming), also focusing on beers of fame (131) and most popular (157). I'm currently off the booze for a while to focus on a fitness plan, but I'll be back soon enough ready to shotgun some pickle beers!
That's impressive that all of your goals are completing lists of beers, and that you're closing in on the ends. I don't study those lists but I'll assume there is some redundancy between them so that some beers that you drink will tick off of more than one list? I presume that you started your journey when you joined BA. Keep on truckin' (drinking)!
Yes, it's nice when beers overlap into other lists. Several of the beers of fame are in the most popular list.
That's funny as I happened to see earlier a Dill Pickle beer from Destihl at the local store. I was like, ugh gross, without giving it a second look. Cheers to those who have 'acquired' that taste.
