    Now that we're talking about beer karma, and have a transparent achievement system, why not be open with our title attainment celebrations as well?

    If you're looking for a place to let the BA community bask in the glory of your newly-earned title, this is it. Be pompous, be bombastic, toot thy horn! We won't judge (well, at least not too much).


    To kick things off, my modest participation in many aspects of the site was well rewarded under the new system. I've jumped from a high-end Initiate to a low-end Zealot. Finally out of the BA n00b bucket after two years on the site. Looking forward to racking up some new achievements soon.

    I feel like pre change BA was like the hard teacher that made it hard to get an A...now we all have the easy teacher and we all get A's. I kept the same title but my points shot up like 1,200 or something.

    That's because the Pooh-Bah threshold is the same, but the point system has completely changed and recognizes contributions across the site a bit more evenly now. It's still going to take effort and time to climb the ladder.

    About a month ago I posted about my medical situation and how I made it to 1300 points and made maven but may never get to Poo-Bah. Well, the revamp pushed me up to Poo-Bah, so good for me. But now there are two unreachable levels ahead of me instead of just the one. Oh well, I'm a Poo-Bah now.

    And I saw another poster suggest an honorary title that ranks above all else for jesskidden. I'd like to submit a vote for that idea.

    At just under 1300 I was closing in on Pooh-Bah but still had a way to go. Now at 1600 I unexpectedly made Pooh-Bah. HUZZAH!

    Thanks to @Todd and anyone else behind the scenes! It seems like a lot of time went into the changes.

    Grand Pooh-bah!? This better not mean more work. I swear, if the new title carries with it more responsibility, I’m switching to hard seltzer. I’m not joking!

    Thanks! Other than bouncing things off of Mods, it was 100% me, all-consuming for a while there, but very much needed and worth it.

    I was a pooh-bah and got demoted with the new system. Who else is a part of this select 1%? Was this to get me to drink more beer?

    Just take your existing BA salary and multiply by 1.5 and you will arrive at your new salary amount. :wink:
