Howdy youse. I’m Gracie, and this guy I hang out with just doesn’t seem to be on the ball with introducing himself to all his friends on BeerAdvocate. And after fifteen years, he really aught to get over it already. So I guess it falls to me, again.

Now, in full disclosure, I am a dog. Very dexterous, brilliant, and humble, but this isn’t about me. It’s about this guy who enjoys good beer and the culture surrounding good beer. The history, innovation, wonderful and wonky culture of beer. He also enjoys designing and building, reading (usually when I want to play), science, theology, and the potential of human achievement. Not just yer run-o-the-mill geek mind you, this guy is a full on whack job. (Seriously: science AND theology. A screwball if I ever.)

I get a sniff here and there, but know beer ain’t right for me. The woman we live with? I think he’s more committed to her than to me, but again this isn’t about me and I’m not jealous. There is also some girl who shows up for time to time. He’s pretty good to me though; takes me for walks around town, in the park, and unfortunately into the wild fields and forests where all manner of terrible critters lay in wait for a tasty K9.

Anyway, he thinks he is funny, laughing at his own jokes, and puns. Don’t get me started on how he plays with words, it is sad really. So there you have it. And BTW, see what you can do to get him to stop singing. It hurts my ears, and insults musicians everywhere. A nun once suggested he just mouth along. A NUN! True story - for another time.

Nice intro, Gracie. Tell Daddy to get you a big soup bone as a reward. :stuck_out_tongue:

This dog is so polite. She asks permission to go upstairs, or down, let’s me know when I’m up too late, let’s me sleep in when I can. She even waits for us before eating her supper. Being an only dog helps. And then, out of nowhere, sneaks onto the iPad and spills the beans. There is still a soup bone in her future though.

Well written introduction. Loving the dog pics!

I thought I had already posted on this thread, must have been interrupted by work. Anyhow, cheers and keep the book posts coming.
