I started my beer journey nearly two decades ago and got into craft at about the same time. I first got into alcoholic beverages with red wines, but having Guinness draught in Scotland converted me to a beer drinker. In some ways, I've probably been chasing that experience since. I hardly ever drink wine these days but do like a good whiskey, brandy, or old-style rum. I got priced out of craft for a few years but recently am back in and joined BA to track what I've had. Only logging those beers I've had since I signed up has been a good excuse to seek out some old favorites. Joining in the community on these boards has been a very pleasant side effect. Here's to many more beers and interactions!
ah yes! There is much comfort to be found in the nostalgia of reuniting with and old favorite. There is up even a whole thread devoted to that very idea. https://www.beeradvocate.com/commun...oodies-a-classics-appreciation-thread.671138/ Cheers to old friends and new!
Hey, kp7, it's nice to meet you. It sounds like you're enjoying your beer journey as well as enjoying the BA site. They go hand-in-hand as far as I'm concerned. Cheers!
Glad to read you’re back into craft beer again. Cheers and have fun seeking and logging those beers!
