...without a doubt, I'd go with my favorite beers...it's not like there's 'nothing new under the sun' in Beer Land, yet with over (likely) just over 5 decades of beer drinking under my belt, I'm pretty set in what I like in beer as far as styles and flavors...

...assuming, say, 20 favorite beers (a number pulled out of my dorsal posterior), there would be plenty of time and beer to reset my palate when I got tired of drinking one set of beer offerings over another...and, perhaps 3 -5 'favorite' whiskeys and, perhaps, 3 favorite wines...I'd be set for the rest of my 1.5 to 3 decades of life likely left to me...

...perhaps I need to sit down and pencil out some lists of 20 beers, 5 whiskeys, and 3 wines to get a feel for how true these sentiments might play out...

    ...hypotheticals...I like this...

Pretty easy decision for me. I'd definitely pick resetting the palate for new beers. I do enjoy my favorites, but the the novelty is what brought me to craft beer. To experience beers new again and experience new styles would be an awakening and rediscovering of craft beer for me. I would so much like to rediscover all of the great flavors out there again for the first time.

I like that I can only get Celebration for a couple of months, then a month or so later Nugget Nectar for a month and a half. Wouldn't be special otherwise, and it gives me a break from Two Hearted, which is always good, but I come back to it refreshed.

There's plenty of new stuff out there to grab a sixer of here and there to keep it fresh, but it's nice to know that I can get those three pretty easily while they're out, and that they'll always be good.

I'm down with the palate reset. Also wouldn't mind having some beers with Anna.

Definitely in the reset camp. The ability to relive the many "bloody hell" moments I've had -- both good and bad -- over the years would be priceless.
