Was staying in Downtown Chicago for business several years ago and took a long Uber ride to that very place. Really liked it but thought it was a little pricey. Then again, what isn't in Chicago, right?

Thank you and that (17) years flew by fast. BTW, when are you and your family vacationing in PA again?

Agree - that was an excellent show and those guys were on the cutting edge. She was great in that skit, nailed it.

5th Season, an Imperial Stout from German brewery FrauGruber (9.8%).

It certainly does have a somewhat unusual flavor profile for the style, being dominated by quite estery banana notes and some chocolate, giving a distinct Banana Split feel to this along with the hints of vanilla.

Having another Pliny while the Cavs/Celtics game echoes in the background. I'm not complaining. Just realized that my left toe is still barking from dropping the mill barrel on it earlier. Haha! You can laugh, too. Yes, it's funny. Much love, and cheers!

Oh boy. Just had some really spicy carnitas again...gotta go with corn torts. Anyways, Goose Island Tropical Beer Hug Imp IPA is hittin' the spot for the unknown pepper blast of head heat. That 9.9% is nice. Cheers!

More defying gravity and more Ohio D-IPA's. (This one from Seventh Son, love this brewery. Will be back there again next week and hoping to snag more of this dank, weedy shah.)

The first five seasons were incredible. Very appreciative to have been allowed to stay up and watch a few back then, even though much of it went over my head. Didn't watch either of Paul Simon's first episodes live.

My favorite from the first episode Paul Simon appeared on (S1 E2 - The Turkey Open was before Thanksgiving during Season 2), though I was a big sports fan as a kid and young adult.. I stopped watching for the most part in the 1990s.

Things might be more expensive in Chicago. I don't go out as often as I did when I worked, and the HH pricing helps, but still not as inexpensive as it was back in the day. Hurt that they started adding tax to bills during COVID (onsite drinks were tax inclusive until then).

Based on my experience the past few years, their prices seem on par with other breweries, and their Barrel Aged beers are better values (quality & lower prices - $0.50 to $0.70 per ounce for most, for the few DB 2-3 year offerings under $1 / oz) than most I come across. Their standard offerings on par with others at grocery or liquor stores.
