    New year. New Thread. Last years beers. Last 2 cans of Kern gold. Looking forward to seeing what one of my favorite breweries from the beginnings will bring in 2023. Will they continue the free shipping? Continue to brew some outstanding beers?

    I remember someone bringing me Just Outstanding IPA around like 2008 or 2009 when I worked in Idyllwild and he was just like my friends make this its pretty good.

    Blew my mind that I had never heard of it.

    A couple of can drops today. It’s been too long since my last purchase. I think it was a beanie. Before that was Citra. Double Chuurch! and Chuurch! With some JO. Not bad for free shipping. Many a bit overkill.
    Did I mention Citra? Coming March 9. Pre sale on now. It might be worth a road trip this spring for some Nectaron cans.

    Kern flies under the radar. But it makes sense - they are quality and no nonsense. No hippie bull shit pastry stout $32 (everywhere) and a new ipa every 6 days (Radiant).

    Kern River is the Enegren of IPA to me. We have other greats here that fly under the radar like El Segundo and Mumford( RIP) , but EVERY ipa i have had from KRBC has been great.

    Thought about taking advantage of the free shipping if you order a case deal. Unfortunately the only purchase option for Citra is a full case. Other cans on the site have 4pk buying options. Wish I could mix and match.

    They’ll have Citra up on 4pks once it’s officially released. Then you be able to mix and match. Anyone here want to split a case of Citra? PM me.

    Due to the weather, they added to shipping - Citra with Nectaron Double & Electric Puppy machine BA sout.

    Citra with nectaron sounds good AF. I heard that PtY added Nectaron to the hop bill this year and it felt brighter, if I was actually picking up the notes I thought I was from Nectaron I think that would really elevate Citra
