    I could fulfill the requirements of this BIFer from my “on hand” stash.

    Easily.

    Actually, I could fulfill them probably 2X+ with nothing but Transient impy stouts.

    VERY easily.

    Actually, Transient impy stouts are now classified as their own food group by the FDA. IJS.

    PS: I’m heading to Wax Wings in Kalamazoo tomorrow morning to pick up another impy stout and some hops that’ll be included in my target’s boxes.

    And then there’s the Zombie Ice I picked up today …..

    Zombie Ice I assume is a 50/50 mixture of Zombie Dust and Natural Ice

    I don't mean to be the party pooper, but I don't think there's much point in running a BIF for only 7 participants. We've got 2 weeks to drum up some more support!

    Maybe it’s time for a “reset” - the tone I’ve seen is a lot of our regular participants are awash in beer and/or crazy busy with “real life” stuff, both of which apply to me even though I said I’d participate this round.

    Maybe a one round respite would allow everyone to come back in the fall recharged and refreshed, ready to crush all porches with a vengeance. I know after participating in all of these (minus the fall of 2017) for the last 7 years including the minis that I’m suffering a bit from “BIFer burnout.”

    Just my 4.8 cents worth, adjusted for inflation.

    If that's what we have to do, we will. We've got a couple weeks left for sign ups.

    Part of the push to get this one started were the calls from multiple people to get it going. We've definitely seen less "old timer" participation over the years, though, and we've been relying on new blood to keep the numbers up. That's been successful, and if it improves participation in NBW by people who otherwise wouldn't have popped in, then it's very successful.

    I know I'm personally pumped, as I thought I'd have to sit out a couple rounds due to my delivery schedule, but that's a very specific situation. (I also drink more than most, and get sent a lot of IPAs, so I usually don't have BIF beers hanging around for years ... although I do have a small handful still on hand :slight_smile: ).

    I'm not opposed to taking a round off if we don't get the numbers - in fact, I think we don't have a choice, since I don't think there's much benefit in running a 7-8 person round robin BIF, half of whom have been around since the beginning. But maybe we'll get a surge in the next week or two! :grinning:
