    Hello and good day advocates!

    Drinking La Trappe Blonde, on a recent recommendation from @Beer-Panda.

    Great one, drinks easily. 6,5% ABV. Tasty and flavorful. And curiously only 1,60€ for a single bottle. Anything else these days as far as craft or traditional breweries like that are concerned we’re well beyond 2€ for a single 330ml one now.

    ...I loved Dire Wolf's 'Canis Mexicanus'...had it in 2021 and gave it a 4.36 overall (rDev+1.6%)...I'd love to try it again...may even have had a chance with it on my Tavour offerings recently (can't find it now), but if so, I declined because of so much backlog of other beers...

    Good day/morning BAs! Had too much fun on Saturday, so I took Sunday off and just had a couple yesterday evening…this morning’s coffee - FBS:

    Bottled 1/18/23. Poured at 54°. Still shaking off the cobwebs, and this helps. Another sunny low 80s day on tap, but I’m going to stay in and rest my weary bones…

    Some good news: I spent all day yesterday with Mrs. Z at Moffitt in Tampa for her yearly CT and surgeon visit, and it went great! Some little spots they are watching haven’t changed, and a couple even got smaller. In short, her cancer appears to have stabilized! We were thrilled with the news.     Frydenlund Fatøl. A Vienna Lager from Norway. Supermarket beer, so it is limited to 4.5 % alc by vol.

    I'm here with my own car. Normally it stays parked. At least once a week I take it for a drive to charge the battery etc. It has a heater to defrost the engine before starting it. And winter tires of course. But it is no 4x4 or a SUV.

    I realized relatively late in my 'beer drinking career' how nice this beer is. And like you mentioned, great value for money (in NW Europe).

    Love Cash. Missed Bearded Iris when I was in Nashville some years ago. But I did see the Johnny Cash museum (hard to miss).

    Totally! It’s only slightly more expansive than Leffe, Affligem etc but so much better.

    Of course I’ve never seen Johnny cash live, nor have I been yet to his museum in the South, but I remember him. Even for one episode he played in the series Columbo as basically himself - a country singer flying from a city to another in California.

    Normally I never purchase a case but I’ll be damned if I don’t purchase a case of Rasputin if given the opportunity. :slight_smile:
