As an Ambassador, I'm so glad we got first pick on the Cellar Sale.

Oh wait, I got fucked over on Minutaie 2022 again!

Every Eunoia gone in first 5 seconds, all bottles gone in 20 seconds. Must have been a bottle of each available.

Scored an E9, went back for E5 and everything was gone. I wasn't even going to try for a Eunoche.

Missed out eunoche. Not sure why I thought I could nab one when everyone else had the same thought.

went back and tried for a minuaite. Can’t remember which one, but also got the out of stock notice.

somehow still had time to pivot to wooden wings at pick no3 on 5:01

refreshed the list and saw all the curvatures still remained. Hesitated for a moment and c12 was sold out in my cart.

Thanks for the info. In retrospect, was it worth the $35? Been to a handful of the free craft beer tastings at a couple of the Suburban Binny locations over the years and always had a good time.

yeah, I think so! The other folks I went with also had a positive experience. $35 well spent.

I got lucky and scored BA Perception of Depth! The bottles did go quick tho.
I do have a second Wooden Wings if anyone wants to trade for another P3 bottle locally. Will likely be at the taproom next weekend.

Got lucky as well. I was down in Tampa for beer week on Friday and had been drinking all day and somehow got a E5. Thank you beer gods!

For our first batch of Eunoia this year, lucky number 13, like Planifolia, we decided to take a singular adjunct approach with just coffee. For this blend we used a new (to us) coffee from Reprise Roasters. The base consists of four of our stout recipes and four different types of casks aged between 12 and 20 months. We chose some recipes that were a bit bigger in body to keep the acidity of the coffee in balance. Aromas of your favorite coffee shop in the morning, with flavors of freshly roasted coffee, smokey oak, chocolate, and Winter baking spices. We hope you enjoy E13 - please keep it cold and/or drink fresh. Coffee typically doesn't like to age and it's tasting superb right now.

    @GuyFawkes It’s not Tugboat!

For the first time this year, Phase Three has made me happy. :sunglasses:

Earlier this year, we looked at our barrel stock and went through some casks to taste them. We had a mission to find some casks that were mature enough and would work well with Vanilla beans. Our goal was to introduce a new barrel-aged stout brand that could become a annual release featuring our passion for barrel-aging and incorporating flavors, without going over the top. For our first iteration of Planifolia, we found some casks that averaged out to about 19 months old and got our hands on some fresh Madagascar vanilla beans. For this beer, we aged the vanilla beans inside the casks. We feel that this process brought out the most complex vanilla notes we've had in a stout to date, that blends remarkably well with the intense chocolate notes from the base stout and is amplified by the charred oak and spicy, bourbon notes from the casks.

OK, for the SECOND time now. Love adding ingredients in the barrel rather than "infusing" or whatever at the end.

Agreed. Also ecstatic it’s Madagascar instead of Tahitian. Too floral of a vanilla for me in a stout.

And “only” $35 (plus taxes and fees - blech) for the vanilla stout. Interesting!

Rumor has it a cuvée of some sort will be on tap Friday. I can’t make it, I don’t think. Can’t wait for the Elmhurst spot to open.

Apologize if it has been posted before, but if not explicitly stated are Ambassadors allowed to enter public drawings when they are offered a bottle?

As an Ambassador of 4 yrs (humble brag) and striking out twice on DB Minutiae, I’ll take whatever they can give me right now.

Yes, but they will cross check to see if you bought a bottle as an Ambassador. 1pp as they usually frown on Ambassadors double dipping.

I can't remember the Tahitian brews, but Eunoia B5 and other beers that they did with Ugandan vanilla blew me away. It's cool to see some experimentation for sure though, would love to see more vanilla brews since they tend to bring out more of the beer and barrel rather than adjuncts.

Cool that Curvature 13 (Imperial stout with coconut, Ghana cocoa nibs, & Saigon cinnamon) is out for distro and that places are selling single cans. Much better than the 750 ml format (especially when shotgunning)!

still 2.4 standard drinks per can, so I guess I’ll continue to shout at clouds / advocate for 8oz cans.

Overheard a guy from P3 talking at the Beer Temple last night. He was saying that they are playing with how they dry hop their IPA's and that it's similar to "what Treehouse does".
