    How is it going, BAs? :sunglasses:

    This is hands down, the best barrel aged Imperial Stout with coffee, I've ever had. Better than BCBCS and KBS 10+ years ago.

    Doppio - 14% ABV Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels for 48 months (that's 4 years!) and aged additionally on Sump coffee.

    Absolutely perfect!

    Good evening, all! I'm drinking WeldWerks Old Rip Medianoche, on tap at The Brass Tap, Cedar Falls, IA. Unquestionably (in my mind, anyway) world-class. It's everything I look for in an imperial stout: licorice, molasses, chocolate, dark cherry, roasty malts, char, fantastic! Cheers!!

    Arvon Profound Technique DIPA (Galaxy, Citra pellets and cryo, Mosaic pellets and cryo). Big diesel cannabis dankness, passionfruit, blueberry, navel orange, tangelo, orange peel, floral, mango skin, earthy spice, pine resin. Nice soft feel with a pleasant dryness throughout and bitter finish. Really dig this one.

    Beautiful day again, at Black Page Brewing, on their great deck.

    With a couple of Troubadour English IPA's while I start John Banville's new novel.

    Then over to a fantastic Portuguese/Indian restaurant (yeah that is really a thing) with one of my favorite dishes in Houston. Pork Vindaloo Curry, with a True Anomaly Ben's House IPA. An ultra spicy curry, with an ultra bitter West Coast IPA works perfectly together :slight_smile:

    ...he's a work in progress...:stuck_out_tongue:

    ...as we approach our 4 month 'anniversary' with him, he and we are getting better...he ain't no Rocket 'The Wonder Dog', but he seems to be adapting to us and vice versa...there's one more session of basic dog training next week...Mrs. BeerGoot seems to want to throw more money into training, but I don't see the sense in that...he's starting to mellow (my main concern), so we'll see...at least, now, we're not looking at re-homing him (or worse)...it's a learning experience for all parties...
