    Instead of a music video clip, here’s a movie we recently watched and thoroughly enjoyed. It does try to depict racism in a very different way than previously shown in those movies (think of Green Book, amongst others and equally great).

    I suppose it’s not a movie for everyone - it’s weird at times but we liked it and if you haven’t caught it yet my recommendation of the day:

    Good movie. Jordan Peele has been touching bases on some interesting subjects lately. Us and Nope is also worth a watch if you liked Get Out.

    Its definitely unique, still figuring out what I think about it. It's worth grabbing a few cans to try. I actually was going to send you 1 in your box but ended up grabbing something else. Wished I'd have sent 1 now. I'm curious about the hibiscus saison I also got from JK to.

    Good Day BAs! Lucky for me my trial settled Tuesday night, so I was able to drive home yesterday, sleep in this morning, and then get caught up on our Beer tournament, now in full swing…morning coffee is a cross post from that thread - Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout:

    Not sure if “SJ27V1” is a bottling date. Poured at 53°. I haven’t had this beer in ages…mild bitter roast malt nose, taste and linger. Tastes fine, but my preference for a morning stout has moved elsewhere over the years.

    I hope to take it easy today, put away some stuff still in boxes, and drink a beer or (?)…Cheers and have a Thirsty Thursday y’all!

    Happy Thursday BA's - sunny and pleasant here today - planned lunch with a couple of old friends at Fatheads today got canceled due to illness (not me, thankfully)....but my oldest friend I have known since we were 5, turns 65 today - damn!

    Lunch beer - The Bruery’s “Black Tuesday” (2021):

    Finishing the bottle (corked and purged) from a couple of days ago; still tastes hot, with sugared raisins. Alcohol bite on tip of tongue and full mouth warmth from 18.9% abv. I like boozy beers, but this is a bit much for me…somehow I’ll manage to sally forth :rolling_eyes:. Cheers y’all!
