What is the average price of bombers at other breweries? Seems like a lot are within 5-10% of each other. TG, SP, Perennial and HF are the higher end I guess? I just assumed almost every brewery in the US is roughly $50 for a bomber of a BA stout.

True. I don’t see Cory collabing with either of those though.

Most don’t use bombers any more. Most newer breweries are 500mL bottles for BA beer. And those range from 20-32ish (WW, Moksa, the like).

At some point we will see how a TG/SP collab is priced. I believe they brewed one at both locations within the last couple years.

I'm not sure how high end Horus is considered. Seems like most people consider them an adjuncted mess anymore. On the Eighth State front, seems like the consensus is "hit or miss, but when they hit they really hit".

Only to point out that I don't think they are in the same league as SP, HF, TG, and so on.

$50/Bomber may not be beyond 3 standard deviations, but it has to be damn close.

HF isn't quite as expensive as SP, Perennial for their "normal" BA releases. I'd have to dig up data, but they are closer to $30/500ml.

Neither are in the same class. Was just a comment on pricing.

Horus pricing is fucking out of control. No doubt!

I think something lost in the weeds is all these online services that charge additional fees. Oznr is basically 10% on top, and now the beer is priced pre tax, so taxes on top. Used to be $40 out the door, now with additional fees and taxes no longer built into pricing, it’s results in sometimes a 15-20% increase passed on to the consumer.

Horus pricing is like their use of hazelnut: out of control and disgusting

Looks like Cory’s whiskey venture had their first release today, $200 seems like a steep price for unknown bourbon but maybe that’s just me

They took down the listing after it sold out but the only thing listed was 112.5 proof, not enough info to pull the trigger at that price point

I wonder if they just bought a test listing? Pretty skeptical that a $200 listing would sell out with only the proof, and essentially nothing announced/posted elsewhere
