Anyone else just leave in disgust?

Almost 100$ for the ticket with fees for the privilege of drinking upstairs and paying for your beer with live music? Yes, they offered food but were clearly not prepared. I was hanging out at the bar and multiple people were complaining about the lack of food and lack of tables. The bartenders just shrugged and said " what can I get you to drink" Limited tickets? Ha! I think they just kept selling them to make more $$. They promised us stories from them. Did we get them? Nope? CJ didn't have the decency to get up and thank everyone for their support. Esther's speech was so about them that it was nauseating...

Back to the food, people were swarming servers as soon as they came out. I literally had one oyster in the almost two hours we were there. I then went to redeem my free beer coupon to only be told it was only certain beers. Yes, they did give you a 20$ bottle and a glass (maybe cost them 5$) It was supposedly a "limited amount of people" and the description made it seem it was a more intimate event. Most people had nowhere to sit or stand at a table for the entire night.

I've loved trillium since day 1. I've supported them through thick and thin. Price increase, OK, This blatant money grab to pad their pockets? I'm all set. Clearly not being able to sell their equipment in canton was a huge expense for them that I just paid for tonight. Just run a go fund me for crying out loud if you need money that bad. I know people will say "they've done a lot for the beer community" well they just lost all of my support with this greedy event.

I read the event description and it doesn’t sound appealing to begin with. $90 cover charge for 1 beer - the event description didn’t even mention that it was limited selection, a glass, and a bottle? Lame. Plenty of beer fests in that price range with unlimited pours for multiple hours.

We can have multiple threads about a brewery (especially if it's about a specific topic/has a poll), otherwise posts like this will eventually get burred in these bigger threads and most people will never see it or be forced to dig to find it.

After the cluster that was the 6th anniversary at Drydock I vowed "never again". Sounds like so much not learned since then.

    It seems pretty simple.

    Have more beer
    Give 3 free beers
    Have more food
    Get more tables

    charge $60

Notch's Krug Club events are super interactive. Q&A, Lukr pouring contests, brewery tour, free food, and free beer for a couple hours.

The membership (which includes other perks, not just events) is $200...for the YEAR.

Worth noting that clearly their customer base is
Non ba. If only one person on here was able to comment on the event

This thread is not nearly as exciting as I had hoped it would be. Wake me up when it reaches Yale Terrace territory.

Well, the problem is, Trillium still makes good beer (and cocktails/seltzers).
