Good morning/day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for turning the lights on this morning at the VB. First two posts are yours P, I can’t let you drink alone - some coffee for me please - “Double Cup” Imperial Coffee Stout by Common Roots Brewing Company, South Glens Falls, NY:



Canned 12/7/22. Poured at 57°. Coffee, chocolate nose. Roast coffee and baker’s chocolate taste. Very little warmth from 14% abv. Long roasty bitter coffee bean linger. An outstanding breakfast beer. Love this little brewery, would buy more if I ever get the chance.

Nothing exciting going on until this afternoon when I have a meet up with one of my beer buddies at the pub…until then - Cheers and have a wacky Wednesday y’all!

 

The wife asked what the hell i was listening to. I said a French singer about Lenin,isnt it obvious ??
She gave me a wtf look .23 yrs and she is till trying to figure it out

 

That is an interesting historical piece. Russian history is a work in progress.

 

LOL! Mrs. Z’s WTF look often quickly turns to the stink-eye look under similar circumstances…19yrs and little ever changes…Cheers!

I'm watching computer review videos on YouTube in order to pick something for my retirement home work space. The last desktop computer that I purchased was an Apple Iic.

I've had a work computer that met my needs for a desktop until now. So many choices. O brave new world. That has such people in't.
Lunch break with a Creature Comforts Duende.

 

Ever since the Pandemic, some of the big stouts from out west have vanished from the shelves. Haven't seen Narwhal, Yeti and Ivan the Terrible in years. Ten-Fidy and Stone's Imperial Stout have finally shown their lovely faces....finally..

That being said, Holzlager BA Imperial Stout is definitely a keeper, a hint of maple syrup, cinnamon and a whiff of chocolate make it work.

Squeezed a walk in before the rain we're supposed to get. Saw a beer truck with Guinness advertising on the outside, but Coors Light and Miller Lite on the inside. Told the beer man that's false advertising, I may have to sue. If someone can sue Buffalo Wild Wings because boneless wings aren't really wings, then what the hell. (Frivolous lawsuits, you gotta love em.) What do you think, 2 million $ sound good? My last Triptych Dark Lager, an excellent Dark Lager at that.
