I’ve found my replacement for Bells Best Brown

    After being lied to about BB at Bells eccentric cafe…I’ve found the Mitten Brewing Company’s Triple Crown Brown to be a very suitable replacement. Now the tough one an Oberon replacement and Bells can then Kiss my ass!!! There’s already many quality IPAs around in place of two hearted.

    In the wheat based beer genre with a similar price point, I enjoy Allagash White, available year round. Not exactly the same, but works for me. Also really enjoy New Glarus’ Hefeweizen Dancing Man, though not sure when that will return.

    Didn't Bell's release Best Brown Ale at the cafe and general store last fall? Unless it's something else.

    That’s what they said. I never saw it in September or October and then the website said it would be December so I went there in December and nothing.

    I think the obvious Oberon replacement is Boulevard Wheat. Not many classic American wheat beers in the market these days though.

    Voodoo's Wynona's is my favorite brown. Absolutely love it. Super scrumptious and comforting. Drinking one now to fill out a flight, never turn down a chance at another pour.

    On their IG, they posted on Sep 23 2022 it was for sale at the cafe and GS.

    Short's Bellaire Brown is my go to Brown ale and Beards Brewing Deez Nuts is a great nut Brown ale.

    Stop it with your facts & logic!!!
    This person is clearly pissed enough to create a new account here to just let the world know that THEY are done with Bells & have found their replacement for Best Brown.

    Personally I'm so proud that I'll be printing off their post so that I can hang it on my fridge
