Welcome back to the Megalopolis, or at least the non-New England Part of it.

Currently enjoying the Snake from District 96 in New City NY. Take note Northeast, not New England. Or whatever.

    Okay I guess this is truly a Mid-Atlantic beer since it's a brewery-only release.

This variant was a new one for the Black Friday 2022 release at Free Will:
    Ralphius Two Year Woodford Reserve

Just finished a Nugget Nectar from Tröegs. An enjoyable, piney, dry IPA.
Love how it took all of one reply before we were out of region.

Welp I guess the masses have spoken and we're being split up. Sad to see it, but it is what it is.

I met a buddy at Tin Barn today and had a few.

Purple Jupiter (DIPA), Hop Wings (TIPA), and Melted Monster (fruited sour). The Melted Monster is not something I would normally drink, but my buddy grabbed me a pour since he wanted to try it.

Per our Railroad Earth interaction, and forgive me if we've talked about it before, but we've probably been at shows together unknowingly. My favorite place to see them was Penn's Peak, one of the coolest venues around. Also many Yonder shows there, which I wonder if we crossed paths at too...

Yes, Penn's Peak is a great venue - and I have indeed seen Railroad Earth and other bands there. I have never seen YMSB, and I have only seen Phish once, but if you are into the broader jam band genre then yes we've probably been at some of the same shows. Besides RRE, the bands I've regularly seen the most over the years are Widespread Panic, Gov't Mule, Perpetual Groove, Tea Leaf Green, Blues Traveler, and Moe. Plus other bands that I've seen less. Also less jammy but Americana bands like OCMS, Wood Brothers, Trampled by Turtles that perhaps you're also into.

Mild sourness and bitterness, moderate sweetness. The fruit is all in, like a mimosa.

That’s funny I’ve seen most every one of those bands, all during the absence of phish though…since we got them back in 2009 I haven’t seen many other shows, with just a few exceptions, here and there, Old Crow being one of them

Almost pulled the trigger on goose Friday night, good tix on cash or trade but I had to go to a 6 year old birthday party instead…:slight_frown:

Fairly clean-tasting local lager; reminds me of a Helles. Pairs well with sunny skies and temps in the mid-60s.

I was welcomed back from vacation by a dropped off 12pk of tree house stouts from a beer buddy. somebody likes me.

I’ve had many variants, but this is my first go with the double shot base. It’s superb.

Unfit for Royalty - Tin Barn/Magnify Collab.

Pretty bright citrus but goes downhill fast. Slight bit of alcohol burn astringency on the swallow. Really really astringent.

If the weather there is anything like here a pilsner by the fire would be perfection.

climbing the ladder from double to triple. A new variant for me. I’m not getting much pepper, spice or smoke but damn if it isn’t still delicious.

the fire gets bigger and the beers stay great. This is an overnight(patent pending) IPA starring simcoe that I first had a week ago in Hawai’i.
I’m not one of these guys that can identify every hop but I do know simcoe and this beer shines with it. Forever simcoe on drugs. Or maybe it’s just really forever simcoe from 5 years ago or whatever lol. Delicious, better than I remember when I was high in Waikiki.
