    Fresh growler from last night and a beer I normally don't take home but am lacking the style at home.

    Nice and biscuity with some caramel malts. Perfect for my bath (since I'm sadly lacking a hot tub)

    Black Shark, a Black IPA from German brewery Camba Bavaria (8.5%).

    This makes for one of the best BIPAs I've ever had when fresh, featuring an excellent balance or roasted, chocolate, tobacco and licorice notes from the malts and bitter, resinous, citrus, herbal notes form the hops.

    Ecliptic's Gravastar Peanut Butter Oatmeal Stout............Lot of smoke, and pretty approachable. Very likable.

    Crazy work and HOA crap, means I haven't been able to read, spin some good music, let alone go out to have a good beer the last few days, oh know what shall I do :astonished: :slight_smile:

    Well back at it. Had a few at Black Page. Their Houston Hades Lager.

    As I'm reading this wonderful, but dense tome about families of all persuasions during a dictators rule in Portugal, well, might as well go to one of the better Portuguese restaurants around. There is also a lot of Indian influences here, which is to be expected. The wonderful Da Gama.

    With their spiced Gin & Tonic.

    Then, this all around masterpiece. Lamb Rib Mattar, with a spicy curry, smoked lamb ribs, potatoes, fried onions, and naan. Oh my.

    With True Anomaly's Ben's House IPA. Always a really good pairing with their food.

    Transient Contronym Czech-Style Dark Pilsner. This is one of my favorite lagers by Transient. Full of flavor and just 4.3%. Roast, cocoa powder, slight peat, slight caramel, earthy hops. Outstanding!
