Loved Allagash Saison when it was around. Too bad it’s a brewery only release.Hopefully it will find distribution in the future.

So happy that you have returned to one of the finest beer styles but very disappointed that it's not being released to the general public.

    I'm down with this holiday!
Gives me a few weeks to find something other than DuPont.
I don't know how lucky I will be finding any, but the hunt will be fun.
Saisons all but went the way of the Dodo bird in these parts anyhoo.
I'm pretty sure all I will find are barrel aged or sour ones, but I'll look.

Goose Island Sofie is not available at your local beer retailers?

I have one bottle of Sofie left from a six-pack purchase last fall. I will save that bottle to drink on April 29th.

    Cheers!

Sophie and Tank 7 purchases are in my near future. I appreciate those two the most.

I believe it was @LarryV I was chatting with on WBAYDN, he said Sophie was $30 in his neck of the woods. Here, I pay $13.99. He's being gouged. Told him Sophie is good, but not $30 good.

I feel you there. Many have tried to come close and failed miserably.
I guess I need to grab a bottle on my next venture out.

Yeah, I've had that, been a while. It's not bad but dang expensive from what I remember. I usually skip by the Goose Island section. I never buy anything from them.
I still have a bottle of their $30 raspberry sour stuff. I forget whose name it is. Lolita maybe?
Probably crack it open for my birthday/Easter.

Well, I have no idea what you consider to be expensive.

As @TwilightBeerCareer posted above, I paid around 14 bucks for the six-pack I purchased last fall. I personally do not consider that to be too much for this brand of beer but you might think differently. As a point of comparison a four-pack of Saison Dupont is priced much higher and for only four bottles.

    Cheers!
