Needed something to help prepare me for going over to my "oh woe is me" oldest daughter's house to help her out with a few chores. It's quite a roller-coaster ride, but we love her nonetheless. My favorite Porter from Founders should do the trick.

Older, retired man here. So I can drink when the mood hits me. There's no rules.
    (Well, except my wife's.)

Good morning, advocates. Having a Pliny while I watch the Brewers take on the Mets. So glad that baseball is back. Cheers!

    Happy warm and pleasant Monday!

In the mid - 60's here and very nice - doing some spring cleaning in the yard and getting 2 raised beds ready for planting soon! Also uncovered the weird Circraft saucer boat I have - and will be painting it soon and getting it ready for spring outings!

We've scads of separate rafters of wild turkeys here. A few young ones are very docile. They love my birdfeed mix. Pecking away another Utepils Minnator Doppelbock as I like its bangin' kinda style. Just got asked to fill in for a drummer tmrw nite. :sunglasses: Work. It happens. Cheers!

I had this one in the Keezer for some time and I figured now is a good time to see what it's all about.
Not bad, light citrus taste, a little malt and something weird tasting in the aftertaste.
It's probably my favorite offering from DuClaw other than one I can't recall, a Belgian style if I remember correctly. I'm really not a fan of their brews.
    Salud!

Hitting Tilted Barn again. All the oxidized IPAs I’ve gotten lately makes me scared every time I pour one. This is not a disaster, but clearly not where it’s supposed to be. Such a shame, because I think I will have to stop buying American beers. The gamble is just not worth the price.

That's so upsetting. It will certainly alter, or ever worse, ruin a beer.

    Another possibility...

A lot of people don't work typical 9am -5pm schedules.

Work the night shift, come home and have some drinks, hit the bed in the afternoon or evening

Absolutely. This is drinkable, but it pisses me off, knowing how good the first Tilted Barn I had was. I stopped buying Cushwa for that very reason, their beers were a total crapshoot.

One good Pliny deserves another. I think that's how the saying goes. Did I mention that I love baseball? The Brewers currently have a 3-0 lead, @GreenBayBA. Even though I've spent so much time in NY over the years, I think a team called the "Brewers" should win. Am I right? Pairing my Pliny w/ some tomatoes. Don't judge me. Peace...

Okay, my fourth Tilted Barn. The first one was amazing. Two and three, oxidized, two worse than three. Number four? The last chance? Oxidized. I am so fucking disappointed, to be honest.

But listening to the best cover ever, so that’s nice.
