    If my target were to purchase the cheapest airline ticket to fly to my location, the airport he would probably have to fly out of for that would be nearly an hour's drive. If he were to settle for the closest airport and probably pay a bit more, it would be less than half that amount of driving time.

    Hint #23: My target's state gets some but not all of its water from that source.
    Hint #24: A major lake in my target's state is drying up.
    Hint #25: the California Trail passed through my target's state./
    Hint #26: Parts of the Viejo Sendero Español pass through my target's state.

    Looks like it would be cheaper for me to fly from the closer airport, SEATAC, instead of driving about an hour to Everett, if I wanted to fly to Spokane....

    Is this the first successful call out this round?



    When I kept a spreadsheet (as a participant, I mean), I would invariably make a mistake somewhere (it doesn't help that I find it in the spirit to drink and BIF :wink: ). I'd think I've got something great going, figuring out my sender, and figuring out the other pairs as well. And then I'd find out I'm totally off base (like thinking @ovaltine lives in Pennsylvania or something).

    If my target were to do a moderately deep dive on the history of athletics at my collegiate alma mater, they would find reference to someone that grew up very close to them.
