    Hey advocates, have a great Thursday.

    We stayed in Amiens overnight after a pleasant long walk (almost 9km) around this city all afternoon under the sun and while I was there bought a Belgian Tripel I’m now drinking:

    Pater Lieven. Very good, 8%. Would buy again anyday.

    Really dangerously easy drinking at 15.1% ABV, but flavor and aroma are generally subdued. Rating 3.84, rDev -2.8%. Second review.

    Haven't been on BA in a while. Living in Qatar limits my options on beer, especially in this Ramadan season. A friend passed along some Bishops Finger strong ale. He's decided he's not a fan of darker, malty beer.

    Absolutely. I’ve never been to Japan and my interactions with Japanese people have been fairly limited to tourist stuffs, rarely work… I like both Nippon and its people based on these mere encounters.

    If it wasn’t on the other side of the world… ah well.
