I searched and didn't see anything specifically related to the town so here we go. I'll be heading to Disneyland in June. I'm staying across the street at the Marriott. I *might* have wheels. Looking for recommendations for a family friendly food place with a good tap list. Not looking for rare beers, just good beers and decent variety. I know you guys are just gonna roast me but whatever. Side note, my buddy's beers from 1k oaks never made it here. :stuck_out_tongue:

Make your way to the packing house. Monkish, Unsung, Iron Press, Windsor Browns. All within walking distance of eachother.

Monks of Anaheim is close by. Unsung is a 2 or 3 minute walk from Monks. Windsor Brown (sandwiches) is across the street from Monks which has 20-23 taps of high quality variety selection. Radiant and Green Cheek isn’t far off. The Bruery is a bit further out. All driving or Uber distance.

My vote is for Green Cheek. Locals can weight in on how family friendly it is.

Love green cheek. Very family friendly. Monkish, Windsor, green cheek, bottle logic and bruery are all within a few minutes from Disney and all worth a visit. All family friendly. Radiant is another family friendly spot not far away from Disney. Can’t see you spending more that 10 bucks on an Uber going to any of those locations.

packing house is a must and monkish/unsung are both within walking distance. radiant is a must in my opinion too and is a 5 minute drive

windsor brown's and tony's deli for sandwiches and great tap lists. both are just a few minutes drive down the street

further out you have bottle logic, windsor's, green cheek orange, and the bruery that are all worth checking out as well

most of these places are family friendly for the most part

You can walk to Windsor Brown from Packing House/Monks. 7 minutes. If parking is hard to find at the Packing House you can park above Windsor Brown in the parking structure and hit up WB, get your card validated while having a pour and then head over to Monks.

I’ve been to the Packing House twice. So did they really build this massive food hall and just say to hell with parking? Is there something that I’m missing?

yeah, parking is a bit** for sure. the actual lot is tiny as it is and they took out a chunk of it for valet. if you plan on going on a friday or saturday night, you're either gonna have to valet your car or park elsewhere and walk

When I do go it’s always early in the afternoon. Noon the latest. I like going before the afternoon crowd shows up. So always 11-noon. Guess I’m just old. :no_mouth:

I've only been there a few times, but learned my lesson after the first visit. Not sure I'd even attempt parking there on a weekend unless you show up real early. As mentioned before, there are a number of other good beery destinations nearby, so no need to fret if you don't make it to the packing house.

True dat. Occasionally I also have trouble parking at Radiant as well as Monks. But like the OP says, don't even tap your brakes; other brewery tastiness is just a few minutes away - Green Cheek just down the road, Bottle Logic or its next door neighbor, Windsor - Everywhere <especially if one of their specialty stouts are on tap> - even Honey Pot Meadery for something completely different.

forgot to mention raymond avenue as well. small tasting room but excellent beers and great people who run the place. also a nice board game selection for the kids and there's usually a food truck outside. 10 min drive from bottle logic and the packing district

only open on fridays and saturdays though

+1 for Raymond Avenue. Everything PaulieWalnuts said and plenty of easy parking too, which as mentioned can sometimes be an issue at other nearby breweries.

Just drove past the old Leisuretown building and there’s a new logo on the side of it that says Villain’s Brewing. Looks like it’s a new venture from the restaurant chain, Smoke and Fire. Beer brewed by the head brewer of Noble when the beer there went to shit. So, probably a pass when it opens.

Noble sunk when Brian and Evan left. They bought that little old place in Orange, Valiant. And then there were 3.

I think you're talking about Brad who recently worked under Evan at Green Cheek. I don't think he's to blame for the downfall of Noble's ber quality but who knows.

The new spot seems like it's targeting a specific demographic and it's not beer nerds.

Brad brewed for Green Cheek for a while and made some amazing beers. Hasn’t brewed for noble for years

Also Noble went down when that marketing guy left, forgot his name Vin?
He later went to Brouwerij West.
