    Perhaps it tastes balanced, but I haven't bought it since they changed things up in May 2020.

    Good day @ HA! Green Torch is an absolutely delicious lime lager. Nitro Bog & Nitro Catch Hell draft pours because I am here / added bonus!

    BHA used to be a clean/clear ipa that was like a tropical Zombie Dust it’s first 3-5 years. It’s now very hazy and closer to orange juice than than Daisy Cutter color wise, and those untapped pics back it up.

    EDIT: some more BHA pics.

    You’re right. The appearance has changed. I could have written my post better. I don’t think BHA drinks like a hazy ipa. To me, it’s still got the drinkability of west coast ipa. Every year I drink my BHA too fast and run back the store for more. BHA has a little bitterness, some malt character, repeatability, things we don’t find in todays hazy ipa world

    While I agree it’s still bitter and malty, it has a more pillowy texture, and defintley doesn’t taste as clean as once did.

    To me BHA still tastes exactly like it did pre-haze with no discernible mouthfeel changes.

    Not neccessarily disapointed in that. What I am disappointed in, is the $18 price tag.

    Picked up a 4 pack of their Fuzz Country Pale Ale. Crisp and clean with just enough bite from the Vista hops.

    Just to follow up on my earlier post, HA did respond and stated Navaja is not on their current production schedule, but they will announce on social media if they do bring it back in the future.

    @eppCOS

    Ending on a better note, they are reopening their outdoor beer garden for the season with a “Strong Beer Time” event on April 1, featuring beers from their brewery and guest breweries, with more information to come.

    is it a wheat pale like Gumballhead or is it more traditional?

    Wheat ale’s are not my favorite style, so I haven’t picked it up, but if it’s in the vein of Gumballhead head, happy to try.

    No, I wouldn't say it's like Gumballhead. This is more of a cleaner, crisp pale ale.

    Looks like DB Benthic this go around is double bourbon barrel / coconut & coffee instead of being finished in apple brandy / cinnamon in place of coffee

    If you're saying no cinnamon this year, I love this post.

    If you're saying it has cinnamon this year, I hate this post.

    Either you wrote a confusing message or I have poor reading skills. I sadly assume the latter.

    He’s saying no cinnamon this year. And as a cinnamon fan, I appreciate this news. I preferred regular Benthic over the previous DB. Could have been the AB barrel too tho that grew me off, but i think the coffee and coconut work better with the base stout. So I’m happy.
