Thanks to some diligent checking on both here and Untappd, another customer here at Beer Stand Stoop in Ota-ku, Tokyo checked in the beer I mentioned in thread #3826.
It is a pale ale, Fresh Start by Kyoto Brwg. :beers:
You may have never heard of this craft beer bar, but the inquiries I undertook said it did have a tendency to bring on beers from Kyoto Brwg.
And I must mention that it has a separate 2.4 GHz wifi network (plus the expected 5 GHz network), which last night's stop, the Baird Taproom Nakameguro DID NOT HAVE.
    {The wifi network is obscured. Its password is a long string of numbers.}

Drinking a great Belgian Tripel, which as far as I know isn’t getting distributed in America though I’d love to be proven wrong… each of you deserve to try it… Paix Dieu (God’s Truce), 10%.

Good day BAs! Thanks @DoctorZombies for starting today's thread! Off to another pleasant day - 57F (14 C) and sunny - I was awakened by the dinosaurs calling from the trees. Looks like another day of trimming trees and washing carpets - I can only do the carpets when Mrs. Lizard is absent - since she simply HAS to walk where I've just cleaned. Left over Chinese for breakfast following today's New Breakfast Beer:

Excellent take on an English barleywine, but Muricanized with brown sugar and maple syrup. Delicious! Glad I've got some more. Rating 4.31, rDev +0.9%.

I arose at 5 AM to brew some coffee and collect the paper down the drive. The dinosaurs were stirring but just after 6 AM the hardwood canopy was in full-throated song, buffered perfectly against the perfect otherwise silence They know it's Spring and time to sing. It always amazes just how loud it becomes as they chase away darkness. It is my favorite time of day.

Third Westmalle refill by now. Recycled image.
Could do with some tripel. Been working from home with a nasty cold today. Always a good excuse for some extra beer

    Early return home today.
This morning I should have been, again in Rotterdam, after the 2015 victory...
I made about €200 worth of planes, only partially repaid.
Because the institutions, first and foremost the Italian ones, have hidden behind their incompetence in ensuring the safe conduct of a sporting event, forbidding the transfer of feyenoord fans to Rome.
And as a result, we from Rome were unable to go to their den to cheer on our team.
It would have been nice to meet again the guys who saw us lift the Conference League in Tirana on May 25th.
But now it is useless to complain.
To dilute the growing tension and while waiting to participate tomorrow in the Franken BVier Fest (one of my favourite beer events) I uncorked this advance of Germany:

Birra dell'Eremo (Assisi, ITA) - ONE MORE TIME - Kellerbier (4,9%)

In my opinion it deviates a bit from the original model, but in any case it maintains its main characteristics, reinvigorating the gustatory contribution of the hops a little.
However it looks good and is very pleasant to drink.
Here my review added to the database:

At Boston Logan after a good 4 days in Boston, I’m seated at the Samuel Adams Brewhouse in Terminal B, where they have these “only in Boston” offerings.

I’m so happy I could cry.

First up, Brick Red, a European style red ale, which I am really digging - nice caramel flavor, with the nice addition of fruity hop flavors, specifically cherry. Absolutely love it.

#2 is 26.2 Brew, a gose with coriander and sea salt brewed for the Boston Marathon, which will be held next Monday. Very light and refreshing.

I don’t think you need any excuse to drink Westmalle Tripel. By the way, I don’t think I’m teaching you anything by saying that « L’ivrogne » (Jacques Brel) stands for a « Dronckaert ».

Now drinking L’angelus which is a blonde French beer. 7% ABV using barley malt, wheat, oats, hops and some spices.

I’m not too hard to please regarding beers, but this is again good, found in a supermarket and a new beer to me.

You are right. I just drink a bit more (3) Westmalle for a week day. And probably another beer later. It helps when you have a cold (so I like to think).
Brel tunes helped me with learning French words for years. My French reading is somewhat OK, but speaking is rather rusty, as you may have noticed  Hope to do some French conversation classes later this year.
    Santé
