    Been a busy day so far - got out early this morning and raked all the small branches and twigs in the back yard. Had one downed limb about 20 feet long so had to break out the chain saw for that one. Got it finished as the temps were starting to soar again. 90 degrees here at the moment. I also got my smoker going and have some jerked (Walkerswood) ribs smoking as I type this.

    This beer is incredibly refreshing after finishing up a burger for lunch (with MBC Lunch mustard - good stuff).

    Having a Berkshire Lager - this is the perfect weather for lagers and pilsners. Currently 94 degrees here in central MA, ridiculous. The previous record for this date in Worcester was 79 degrees so we've smashed that record.

    It's warm here too. Mid 80's, but last nights future forecast said we could see a few *********s mixed in with the rain on Sunday. Spring, go figure.

    Hello friends. Thanx @Shanex for 3828. I'll pop in on the thread when I can for the nxt wk or so. Early morning call sez I'm free tonite...which means simply, it's time for a beer. On its side from the back of the coolah I'm pouring Remedy Queen Bee Imperial Honey Cream Ale. It's pretty good. Cheers!

    ...another long night, morning, and afternoon...the Reader's Digest version:
    • Oscar was restless all night and most of the morning, but no blood, vomit, or diarrhea; in fact, he's started eating again, too and is getting back to his normal self
    • Had two Colorado Springs police officers visit re: another neighbor and his kids riding motorcycles up and down our back alley; the visit went well. They'll try to contact the individual to explain where he's wrong in doing what he does, but there is no formal legal complaint we're pressing
    • Oscar and I just had a great lunch of home-made hot wings
    • It's cool, rainy, with possible snow showers this afternoon - I foresee auxiliary vices in the 'Fortress of Solitude' soon
