Good day BAs! Thanks @RaulMondesi for kicking the day off! Looks like another mild and sunny day here on the PA tundra - currently 57 F/14 C and blue skies with few clouds - rain on tap for tomorrow.

Today's New Breakfast Beer is one I've passed over many times because others from that brewer just weren't that good:



Pretty much slightly charred roasted malt and nothing else. Rating 4, rDev +1.8%

 

First time having this one for me. Would not really call it a honey beer. Although it was nice enough.

 

I have never tried that one for the same reasons you stated, but recently I did try their Baltic Porter, which was not bad and happens to be their best beer (I know, that’s not saying much).

Rye of Fire. Triple Rye IPA from Uiltje.
Interesting rye beer. Rye (Rogge) beer used to be a traditional beer here in NL for ages. The 9.5 alc by vol. is very well hidden.

We had a light dusting of snow last night and it's still spitting out some small flakes this morning.

A pretty good "Hoppy Lager " is what I am sipping on. Part of the Brewvana box this month.

Good morning BAs! Went to the Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival last night, got home late, slept in this morning. Today’s new coffee - “Stronger Than Fiction” (2022) a BBA Strong Ale with Coconut and Coffee added, by Bottle Logic:



Poured at 55°. Boozy hot (13.5%) and sweet. Lots of coconut but not much coffee. Working on notes for NBW. This beer is a bit much, so I’ve corked and purged the second half of the bottle to enjoy later…Enjoy your Saturday and Cheers y’all!
