    Happy Saturday, BAs! I’m at Ludlam Island Brewing to pick up cans and am treating myself to a pour of Maraschino Thunder Jacket on cask. The base Milk Stout is excellent and conditioning it on cherry makes it even better. Great job. Cheers!

    It is a beautiful pre-re-winter day in Wisconsin. You could grill a steak on the sidewalk today, and by Monday, you could store a Thanksgiving turkey outside. I am drinking one of the foremost beers brewed in our fine state. Which requires me to ensure you are all invited to the WBAYDN all-stars event at 3 Sheeps Brewing on 5/13/23. That day will likely have over 30 pages in the WBAYDN thread. Join us in-person. @GrumpyGas, I checked with the post office. I assume you sent an RSVP. I just haven't received it yet. My new avatar is a very recent professional photograph of me moshing by myself. Which I am known to do. A brewery even named a beer after me.

    Saw this when I went to the store to pick my wife up a fresh apple fritter. Maui Brewing Da Hawaii Life. Citra and Mosaic hopped lager beer. 4.6% abv and 25 ibu's. This tasty lager really highlights the hops along with that lager crispness. Nice rocky head with some staying power. I like it, glad I came across it. I see it's a limited release, better get back to the store and get more. It's right up my alley, the beer, not the store, it's right down the street.

    I ran some errands and have stopped in at Hidden Sands Brewing for the first time in almost 2 years. Having a pint of First Drop, a Baltic Porter brewed with coffee and maple syrup.

    look: 4 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    The beer features some wonderful looks and a fantastic aroma, but starts to weaken in its appeal with thin, nearly watery taste and mouthfeel. It comes across as light and delicate with the flavor. Personally, I think this beer would make for a great summer thirst quencher.
