CANBIF - Spring, 2023!

Box is shipped to my target, sending tracking shortly. My box has the word "STEVE" written on the side but this is not the name of the recipient. Actually, not a name of a person but the name of a beer that my workplace released last year, named after the Aurora Borealis-adjacent phenomenon!

 

As usual late to post things...

Anyhow, I'm always seeking out new beers, my untappd profile is mostly up to date with brews I've sampled.

I do enjoy very much enjoy brews of the darker heavier varietals, and have an insatiable sweet tooth. That being said I am open to pretty much anything(aside from old IPAs), and always interested in new/different styles or new/unknown breweries. Beer, cider, mead, or however mixed is always welcome.

 

As my company name suggests, I love hoppy beers. I prefer juicy over dank and I still love my west coast IPAs. I also enjoy stouts, porters and dark lagers. Pilsners, specifically Italian Pilsners have been a interest of late. Sours are fun to have around for the summer too.

Don't waste your big 13% imperial, marshmallow root, vanilla, coconut, peanut butter stout, that was barrel aged for three years in a sherry cask.

 

Ok, targets. Your boxes are filled and sealed shut. Printing labels have been affixed. Shall drop off at post office on my lunch break tomorrow.

 

I dropped a package in the mail yesterday, due east. Looks like it will arrive in a saintly city mid next week.

Hint/update: My box passed through Montreal this morning, and is heading further west, to a municipality that's only about a half-hour drive from the US border!

Sorry about the lack of posting here....I've been out of the country for the past couple of weeks, but my target will be receiving some cool brews from my home province (of course), along with a grouping of cool product from south of the 49th parallel! Im looking forward to recieving my box (*think* I may have a clue where its coming from??)

My target is way East of me and likes a medley of styles, if I'm correct? Anyhow, I'm excited for them, as some of these I have not even had a chance to try but know they will be awesome!

My targets box will be dropped tomorrow at Canada Post, weighing in around 23lbs. It’s going to a city on the east coast that I have never been to, although I have been to the city on the other side of the harbour, where one of my favorite breweries resides.

 

To my target, I have United your beer together and sent a whopping 17.88kg porch destroyer through CP.
Approximately 8 days until a wide variety of IPAs, imperial stouts, fun lagers and ales find their way east to the north shore of Lake Ontario .
Don't know how I fit it all in the box. Good luck post man!

My box is almost ready. The only thing missing yet is packaging tape. So hope to be able to drop it today.

It will travel west but not too much west Holding mainly a variety of Ontario beers and a couple from my recent travel to Europe. Some names are well-known known (at least in Toronto). Some are new players.

I finally got a chance to open my box, and what a great box it is:



All are new to me save the Holy Mountain Black Beer, which is an excellent revisit. Several new to me breweries as well and a bunch from one of my favourite BC breweries, Back Country.

It's been a bit crazy around here lately, but a 26lb box is finally on its way east filled with 18 beers from 14 breweries. My target has very similar tastes to my own (which made this easy) but also has a very impressive Untappd track record including from my own province (which made this more challenging), so hopefully all of these are new to you.

With luck they'll be there safe and sound by early next week (sorry it's possible CP didn't include your email address for tracking on your end).
