    I imagine myself somewhere foreign, somewhere exotic - Taiwan, perhaps? And there, I’m drinking this beer and seeing foreign and exotic things. And it’s awesome. …But then reality snaps back in - and I’m not in Taiwan. I’m in Southern California. And that doesn’t make this not so good beer worth it. No, it doesn’t make it worth it. Cheers!

    Taste and nose are passable, but otherwise thin and watery with zero crown/cap/lacing after approximately one minute. Rating 3.56, rDev -7.8%

    Grolsch Kanon. Looks somewhat fancy, but it is just Euro lager (with 11.6% alc by vol.).
    Does pair great with the lousy weather here today; cold and windy outside.

    Kasteel Rouge. This beer has nothing to do with Kriek or Red Ale. It is the brown Kasteel with cherry liquor added (so I understood). Not bad at all, but beer with added liquor is not my favourite style.

    Yes, this one also was a miss for me and let me down a bit. Not craving those extra flavors in beers especially berries cause of astringency. I’ll drink it but wouldn’t buy it much.

    I'll admit it's a strange one, but I've bought it on multiple occasions. I do really enjoy the flavoring of the cherry.

    It's no Donker though... unfortunately, that's not available near me, so I take what I can get haha.

    This can was hiding in my refrigerator for nearly a year (canned 5/18/22) and is still tasting very good, one of the few in this style I'll pick up.

    Happy 4/20, BA's! Time for my annual bowlful of The Waldos'. I've read complaints about this being too sweet and malty and whatnot, but for some reason that always works for me when it comes to this beer. I rated it 5 a long time ago, and I wouldn't change it a bit. Cheers!

    What's funny is you were my reminder. Knew it was coming up tho. Its hard to be keeping track of days when everyday is 420. Everything just kinda flows together carelessly/nicely :grin:
