Enjoying a pastry stout from Burial, very nice as the chocolate and nuts dominate with a touch of cherry on the back end.

Sweetwater H.A.Z.Y Double IPA 8.5%. Wow, this one explodes Tropical fruit from the get go. The alcohol interrupts eventually, but it is a DIPA. Strata, El Dorado & Sultana hops featured.



Dude aint lying about southern women. And yes, September can be hot as hell down here.

Jai Alai out front BA's! One at home then we head downtown to wiener wars. It's a fundraiser for literacy in our town. 12 restaurants compete for the "King of the Wiener" championship belt. They'll have everything from pulled pork, duck, spam and more on the wieners for the judges and everyone to sample.

I have only heard The Dead's version of that tune. Interesting, but I will take the Dead over this or the original by John Phillips.

 

Good looking beer. We don't get Schelll's down here but they have an excellent rep. The head brewer at Tucker Brewing Co. here in the Atlanta area started at Schell's he makes solid German style beers. Prost!

 

My five year old randomly sings this song. It makes me proud that he has such good musical taste; it may be awkward if he sings it church, oh well.
