Are you talking Tewksbury? Likely, but I’d imagine @VodkaPong87 is likely referring to Charlton, even though they didn’t specify, since I doubt someone is driving to Tewksbury versus Charlton coming from Connecticut.

Yes, Charlton, sorry. Still forget they have multiple locations now.

Bummer to hear about the crowds and long waits still. I remember we were expecting this to calm down once they expanded. It's just really hard for me to bring a few casual beer drinkers to the zoo, so it looks like we'll just coordinate a weekday where we can head up.

Ah sorry, for some reason I thought I saw Tewksbury.

Then again, picture a quick 5 min line to 20-30 or longer to get a beer on a nice Saturday. Very amusement park line feeling ha. Charlton is bigger and you can always find your space to chill. But the causal beer drinker may not like the line for draft.

In regards to Pink, I agree that it's not nearly up to par with the other "core" beers. But I gotta say Very Pink is excellent.

That said, I wish Alter was available more often. It's kinda weird how it's not, but I'm sure Nate and co. have a good reason for it.

the topic of caffeine in the coffee stouts has come up more than once in here, here's the first TH decaf stout.

The website description is quite different, even tho there's nary an ABV number to be found.

"(Barrel-blended Imperial Stout with Decaf Coffee, 12oz) Nightcap is a novel barrel-blended Imperial Stout conditioned atop Bokeh Decaf cold brew from Tree House Coffee Roastery. Pouring an appealing syrupy black color in the glass, it carries notes of melted chocolate, caramel, and mixed dark fruits balanced by the heft of our custom decaf coffee blend. A decadent treat loaded with coffee flavor. Nightcap is an ideal nightcap to sip on after a hearty winter dinner that won't keep you up too late--Enjoy!"

definitely b2. I also really liked the first batch. And fortunately for me, I'm making my quarterly stop at TH tomorrow.

Sadly, the cans didn't have an ABV on them.

In 2023 it’s mind blowing it isn’t a law to list abv. Since it’s law they have to put the don’t drive or use machinery since alcohol impairs judgement.

Wouldn’t you think it would then be sensible to have to print the abv so you know your limit lol.

And don’t give me the prohibition reason why. It’s fucking 2023. There is legitimately no way to argue this point. Also don’t give me the “brewers don’t k know the abv I’ve her people spout”

Yeah this is batch #2 as others have said. Their decaf cold brews are actually pretty good as well. Would not be surprised that this is tasty, Tree House certainly knows their way around a coffee stout.

Yeah I’m very curious to see what they can do with a very good decaf coffee

I dare, another brewery even try to get to the video production level Michael…is doing for Nate.

These travel videos are epic for a brewery.

wow, $25 for 12oz Project Find the Limit: Vanilla Bean #8. Vanilla is so easy to overuse imo. You'll find me defending TH more often than not, but this whole series is such a cash grab

I am not sure that using such an expensive ingredient in this fashion really is worth the experiment but vanilla is very labor intensive to grow so it makes sense that it would cost more and more as they add more to a beer. I don't think it's a cash grab. It's just that vanilla is very expensive.
