What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3841

Best Summerfest I’ve had. Prior batches have always tasted a bit syrupy to me. But here, it’s a very clean beer. It’s not a big dog (amongst Lagers), but it can still run with the pack. This is the kind of beer that you wish your frat boy friend Tyler has in the cooler when he invites you over for corn hole (when he usually has Nati Lite):

Cool that I can share beers and also commiserate on terrible White Sox baseball with two different folks from England at this early hour here. At least the beer is good these days.

Beautiful DIPA. Bit much for a lunchtime beer? Nah!

 

First time trying Verdant on cask and it's not a disappointment. Lovely porter.

 

Good day NA BAs! And Good forenoon/afternoon to our English/Euro brethren! Currently 36F/2C outside but we had a decent frost overnight - hope it killed the apple blossoms - otherwise, I'll be up to my ass in apples this year. Most of them drop before ripening so become food for deer and Brando, my local groundhog. What they don't eat, I have to pick up and compost before all the yellowjackets discover them. Takes me an hour/hour and a half to pick up apples daily. Mostly I use the branches I trim from the trees to smoke BBQ.

Definitely not in my wheelhouse. Weakly tropical fruity flavor, sweet, perfume smell. Rating 3.63, rDev -2.9%. Fortunately, we don't all have the same taste - thanks Derek!
