Good day BAs! Off to another moist start to the day - currently 47F/8C and overcast - rain scheduled for afternoon. Oh well, I've got plenty to do in my garage - got my new lathe set up and it's time to start learning how to use it.
Today's New Breakfast Beer, thanks to my beer brother @2beerdogs and NBW BIF 17:



Wow! Excellent Impy IPA! Grapefruit balanced by malt, no ethanol flavor or smell - but the ethanol is working its wiles with the remainder of my brain cells! Good thing I don't have any more of these or I'd be on the floor. Thanks Derek! This brewski is excellent! Rating 4.12, rDev - 3.5%

 

Funny you open about the gym, @Shanex, as I decided to start a new streak of getting to the gym once a quarter this morning. Expected drop in strength and stamina given the time between visits, but felt good overall. We'll see what tomorrow morning brings.

Had some over-salted breakfast burritos with a few glasses of water. I'd complain to the chef, but wasn't feeling like being confrontational. Besides, he decided to pair it with something sweet to balance things out - a local brewer Audacious Aleworks with a medium-strength pastry breakfast stout:


Part of a mixed flavored stout 4pk the GF got. Maple and roastiness on the nose, and blueberry and chocolate on the palate with a moderate sweetness - not badly executed at all.

 

A little hit of coffee.

 

Figured I’d go with an appropriately named beer this morning.

I immediately thought of the early 90’s album of cartoon covers.

 

As am waiting on at least a mg of acid to wear off(yeah right). Waiting on Odd Muse to open its doors to me.
