My Opa stores are running low...

I would love a case of Opa and Oma for the spring and another for the summer.

(please do not jump onto my post and tell me we are overdue for BA coco vibes and Coffee Shop vibes ...you know who you are :joy:)

I mean, I just want a massive influx of stouts & barleywines for a short window after flying into StL in a couple weeks :grimacing:

The Side Project thread is 97% dedicated to stouts and barleywines. Stop it! Variety is the spice of life. Plus I'm sure your proxy has 3 cases of stout and barleywine for you :sunglasses:

Any word on how OLR kriek is? I have really high hopes!

Pickups start Friday so nobody has had it yet. Did Alison do samples on a Tuesday a few weeks ago? Might be a few people who got a small pour of it.

Is there any kind of guide to know what year certain bottles are from? A local guy was cleaning his cellar out and I got Grisette B9, Langst B3, Raspberry Biere du Pays B3 & Saison du Ble B9 for damn near nothing but he had no idea what years they were from. Grand scheme of life not important but I like putting beer in the proper year in the cellar. Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

There was a Google doc floating around that someone has painstakingly kept current with all releases, blends, collaborations, etc. I don't have the link but I'm sure someone does.

In the meabtime, Grisette b9 is from 2022, same for Längst b3 I believe.

Thanks, hopefully someone has that. Langst I was able to find and archived SP post on the interweb; that was May of 2021. All the others just come up to either Untappd or random articles that give no useful information.

It was linked in the post before this, but that spreadsheet link is in the first post of this thread and every SP thread for the past years.

I can't believe how many of the DB Derivations and the Van Winkle BBT have remained available for awhile. I get to visit in about two weeks and fingers crossed the VW BBT and at least one DB Derivation or Derivation #16 survives until then.

Continuation #3 would be a nice 'tick' too. I've never tried any of these.

Will need help splitting bottles though. My GF doesn't like beer and I probably shouldn't put down 750mL of 15% when I'm headed to meet parents.

Not with that attitude, you shouldn't.

Well that depends. Your parents or her parents? :stuck_out_tongue:

The parents that think drinking two AALs gets you hammered, and is irresponsible.

My parents wouldn't give a shit, just don't try and drive. :stuck_out_tongue: But if Van Winkle BBT and Derivation are still available, I may not resist the temptation to try both.

I will fully embrace canned CSV, and I'm a sucker for nitro. This could be really good.

I was pretty excited to see that too. Was always thinking this one would be awesome in a can format.

Was something posted about CSV? I used the Tigers being in town as an excuse to get back to STL and hit up SP, but gotta say after D17 disappeared the list is a little disappointing to me. CSV has been a big want for me so I hope it’s dropping quick if there was an announcement.
