That's so odd to hear that you have ever had anyone act shady on the phone. I have called the general store a million times and asked what 750ml bottles they have in stock and they have always been very nice about it even when BN or BB 9000 has been in stock.

Don't people realize that Bell's wants to make this a silent release? The last release of Black Note turned into a shit storm so they took their time replenishing the shelves, making it "sell out" as soon as word got out.

Is it really sold out? Not surprised in the slightest.

And I find it hard to believe that the 90 mins between dontcounttoday's heads-up and the alleged sell-out was enough time for tons of BA's and/or their friends/mules to suddenly drop everything and flock to Bell's.

For the record, I am not at all against silent releases. Letting the locals get the best chance at a bottle is awesome. It's just the fact I had several people message me saying they called and were given the runaround that passes me off.

Now, when I posted that I hadn't bought my bottles. My girlfriend and I went to the bar and enjoyed some food and great beer, then back for the purchase. There were more bottles available when we left than there were an hour previous when I posted. Maybe they removed them from the shelf, maybe the very packed bar all cleared out after me for bottles, but I doubt it. I'd say call ahead to be sure but I don't know if I trust that

If I were Bells, I would watch this thread like a hawk. The minute someone posts I would take out 50% of the bottles and sell them another day / and or / not restock them for the rest of the day. I doubt they are totally sold out however, I bet you the minute someone posts on here they have it they will modify their cooler stock somehow.

There should be a word filter for BA that replaces such words/phrases as "free market", "capitalism", "supply and demand", and etc with Natalie Portman ass shots, and I'm not even THAT big (heh heh... big) of a fan of hers.
