I’ve never done a hotel room for DLD but that sounds like a fantastic idea! Some folks take a “nap” in the middle of festival grounds.

Yeah I went 8am until 2pm one year, then returned around 6 or 7pm and kept drinking (had Group E). Worked well. Never would have made it without a break.

In 2019 we were in the bottle share room Friday night, then were up early waiting to get in and drank a little outside. Went pretty hard at it until Matt Pike rode that thunderstorm in and shut it down. Headed back to the hotel. Several in our group napped. Some drank in the laundry room with strangers while they dried their clothes. I was somewhere in between. Then we went back out and partied line free through the rest. High on Fire was still going after 9. We left somewhere around then. Continued to drink a bit more after that at the hotel. Everyone lived and felt pretty good the next day. The break mid-day was pretty key. And chopped cheese. Lots of them. That sandwich better be back. Also, I mostly was drinking ZD the last few hours. Highly recommended strategy.

If the "poster" on the website works like a real concert poster does, it'll be:
    Sybris
    Enforced
    Pelican
    Municipal Waste
    Cannibal Corpse

First Time in Group A. Can't wait.

But Truthfully, we are coming a bit later (11am ish) this year. I found that starting at 7 or 8 or 9 am, makes for a very short day for me. I went back for a nap in 2018 at 3:00 pm and woke up the next morning at 8:00 am. My brother just let me sleep.

They will headline and play last as others have said. Based on prior years expect the first band to go on around 1pm, Cannibal Corpse around 7 or 8pm, with bands spaced out at roughly 1 to 1.5 hr intervals.

I identify as a male. Hence - mancelet. My better half? Womancelet.

If I'm trying to woo my better half's favor, I would give her a Romancelet.

What time does Dragon Abortion take the stage?

They don’t. With Indiana’s recent laws you would have had to receive state-directed counseling that includes information designed to discourage the patient from listening to Dragon Abortion, and then wait 18 hours before the concert can proceed.

Actually I believe Dragon Abortion is banned, six weeks after the fest. Laws may have changed since I last paid attention.

Damn, ya'll should think about crossing the WGA picket lines to write on some late night shows.

Well, given the recent Supreme Court ruling, it seems as though DA will only be able to play if we burn or bury them. But, there are so many fallen soldiers at this event, I feel as though we could just use them to fulfill this legal obligation. Win-win.

Is crossing the border for a quickie Dragon Abortion concert in Mexico an option?

No need to go to Mexico, Illinois has protected the right to get Dragon Abortions whenever you want.

I hate the idea that even having this productive conversation could get us labeled as “dragon killers”.
