    The Veil Critical Talent is a perfectly fine beer, but it’s not a West Coast IPA as it claims (too heavy on the juice element). Cheers!

    I have been drinking my fair share of Veil brews lately. Their new facility is awesome. I need a restock. Probably go again this week.

    Happy Saturday, BA, and thanks @RaulMondesi for kicking us off!

    A couple of beers here. The first one is Hydrowave by Mason Aleworks in partnership with Mumford Brewing. It's unfortunately a bitter, diesel and shampoo mess of a beer, and one of the least enjoyable beers I've had this year.

    I followed it with an NA beer that has all of the opposite problems, being thin, light and overly sweet. Luckily I was watching Geelong grind out a tough win against Adelaide in the Australian Football League, and the correct and preferable result means each beer is forgiven!

    Good morning/day BAs! It was 42° outside when I arose earlier. Kitchen chores done, it’s coffee time - Burial’s “A Quite Ostentatious Testimony of Nonsequitur” imperial stout:

    Purchased at the brewery 5/1/23. Poured at 55°. Strong coffee nose, but not much on tongue. Sadly super sweet. Working on notes for NBW…

    Another beautiful day on tap for the Kanawha Valley, sunny and low 70s forecast. Errands to run later today, then a party this evening with my high school/college chums. Life is good BAs - Cheers from South Charleston WV and have a great day y’all!
