1) Toppling Goliath Electric Dino Boogie (7.8% canned 2/27/23): A NEIPA from Iowa/Tx collab with Pinthouse Brewing with Simcoe, Citra, and Galaxy for flavors of juicy orange, cantaloupe and peach, tropical fruit with a touch of pine and dank herbal notes.

2) Hop Butcher To Love Is To Know (8.0% canned 1/30/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with Nelson, Mosaic, Amarillo, Nectaron for flavors of cotton candy, juicy fruit, crushed blueberries. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Hop Butcher To Love Is To Know: A battle of top-notch haze. Electric Dino Boogie has been a go-to beer of mine for the past few months. Nice tropical Simcoe flavors that impart cantaloupe and peach. Hop Butcher made a big one here with lots of Mosaic and Nectaron flavors. Cotton candy and blue raspberry flavors. Big, creamy, and smooth. Electric Dino Boogie is juicier, but Hop Butcher is creamier. Take your preference. Both of these breweries are gold and don't disappoint.

 

Congratulations to your daughter, that is the ultimate milestone - well done!!

Thanks, Larry! It's been a long haul for her at UNC and Yale, plus 12 years of archaeological excavations in Israel. She's accepted an Assistant Professor position at the University of Missouri so I'll have to start following the SEC. Go Tigers, LOL!

 

I don't know why, but there is something gratifying about completing a project like that and kicking back with a nice beer. A real sense of accomplishment I guess. Nice job you did there too! Cheers!

Gkruszewski is one incredible beer reviewer. He's reviewed over 10,000 beers in less than ten years. If my math skills aren't failing me, that's over 2.5 beers per day for ten years! That's incredible. How does he still have a liver?
