It was pretty tasty - having leftovers for dinner tonight.

 

Veltins Pilsner (4.8%): An German Pils with flavors of German bread malts, honey, yeast, and authentic Munich malts on the finish.

One of my favorite German beers. Best by 2/2023 which I failed to realize before buying because I thought it was the canning date. Can detect the age here as the hop flavors are a bit muted and it's less complex. The malts still holding up for authentic Munich malt flavors and drinks smooth. A top German Pils when fresh.

You guys know the drill… day 27, brewery number 32 - Estes Park Brewery…Renegade IPA:



Chinook, Citra and Columbus. Not Awful…barely…no, I’m mistaken, the beer is awful…a tourist trap that brews bad beer and the food is equally as offensive…my buddy drank two fingers of his porter and I cringed with every sip of three fingers out mine (his porter was revolting) the remaining was totally drain pour… Cheers (?) from Estes Park CO!

Lawson's - Juice Stand (Blood Orange IPA)

It's actually quite nice. Very light (just 5%), very citrusy from the citra, but I admit that the blood orange contribution is marginal at best. Light body, as expected, but overall a nice and bitter brew. Glad I grabbed some.

 

Back at the ranch after drinking at 2 really below average breweries…first time I’ve pulled my giggin’ Martin out of the case since leaving West Virginia 2 weeks ago…drinking ODell Brewing’s “Mercenary”:



A delicious beer, gorgeous weather and a fine instrument…Cheers from the front range BAs!

 

What a nice afternoon! On the way home I paid a call at Two Ton Brewing in Kenilworth. It’s been way too long! Drinking 2-Player Coop, a NEIPA collab with Twin Elephant. Love the hop bill: Citra, Motueka, and Wakatu, and conditioned with coconut. This is can-worthy. Thursday cheers, BAs!
