Every time I try this (I think I’m on my 3rd 6er plus a stovepipe), it gets better - loads of Citra hops (as in LOADS) and a nice caramalt backbone. It truly is ZD’s “big beer brother,” IMHO. Absolutely love it.

Have a good Thursday. Woke up around 130 pm and saw half of Milwaukee. So much German food and beer around here plus cheese. We need to come back yearly. We are at the war memorial beer garden getting an Oktoberfest brat.





Got a potosi hazy bluff. Aromas and flavors of red grapefruit, tangerine, peach, passion fruit, pineapple, red berries, citrus rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, wheat, bread, herbal, floral, grass. Medium pine rind bitter finish. Medium carb and body. Balanced creamy bready malts and sticky hops. Some resin drying with no astringency. Feels like a lot of Simcoe and centennial hops. Very well done hazy. Dank and earthy hops with nice juiciness. No complaints. 4

That’s embarrassing.

Anywho, nice toffee notes, + a generous amount of oak and booze = a winner for this old beer nerd. Very glad I’ve got a couple more bottles to experience. Really good stuff, IMHO.
