Currently we are laughing our guts out reading the reviews of perhaps the worst brewery/restaurant in America - Estes Park Brewery…my friend came home and has been sick to the stomach all afternoon long…want a laugh? Look up the reviews for this horrid brewery!

Me? The the beer was undrinkable and the food just as bad…we’re still laughing reading 19 pages of one star reviews…

Finally a day I can open the windows, smoke is gone and some thunder breezes are passing. Smells like dirt and hay, weird. Miller moths have been held in check, learned years ago not to have any outside lights on and to open crappy screen door near the main room (lights) from the outside, haha.

Just did a quick review of Narrragansett- 3.77, wow, way above the standard deviation. I like it for what it is. Need to try Coors Banquet again, I did like it for what it is as well.

Remembering Tina Turner
may have to put a playlist together for walks.

 

Very pleasant, peak Chicago discovery this week: Beer Hates Astronauts on draft at the Music Box Theater*.


*side note: Wayne's World holds up much better than I expected

Great desert band and one of the originals to spawn generator party's...this album is stoner meets surfer who probably is a pothead...it comes full circle

 

Walked up to Lake front after talking about metal and theater with a dude at the war memorial beer garden.

I love this place already. Super rustic. We missed the beer tour by two minutes but we need to come back. So much brewery to see.




They had a ginger pear seltzer on cask so I had to try as I've not had hand pull for years, and it was awesome. Super clean crisp and flavorful. Julia got the gose a Rita which is also awesome and not overly lactic. 4.1

Fun people in MKE. Reminds me of a business trip to an account in MKE, we wrapped up business in an hour, went to a great pub for lunch, then headed over to the opening day Brewers game. Brats with stadium sauce indoctrination. I was a convert, haha. Then off to an after game bar playing pool. And then I had to hop back on a plane to Dallas. What a day!
