Great review, and spot on. I was blown away by the mouthfeel on this one. Extremely thick and creamy. The vanilla variant was not as good.

I was more pissed at the misleading label than the beer. Give them a chance. I think HpB ( local to me) makes Horrible Stouts , but i still visit every so ofteb

    From a box i received from @Whyteboar
Never had this before and always wanted to try it.

Disclaimer: This trade agreement was made in Feb well before the racism in Detroit was cemented.

I really like this and sucks I'll never have it again, but Michigan has a lot of great shit and i know @Whyteboar can deliver

Thank you! I’m jealous, I have yet to find it on tap around my area. Cheers to Mrs. Resistance!

Nightcap of a can of Publication Brew Works (Pennsburg, PA) - Obituary. Neither the Peppermint, Chocolate, or Coffee are overpowering, just a nice blend of flavors, and not too sweet. Full bodied, drinks prety easy for a 13% abv beer

I shared and traded a bunch of the most recent release of these, but if you refrigerate these cans, they hold up great for years on end.

This one was canned 10/1/21. Would say it's a little thinner than expected but still smelling and tasting great and as expected.

What you said young man is why you should take a minute or two to rate all those great beers on Beer Advocate you consume! Hope you are having a great day Tomas @Resistance88 !
    Cheers!

Da Boss and i have been spending a timeshare week in the middle of nowhere, West Virginia since last Saturday. Why? Never been here before! We mainly have been hiking and driving around to various points of the state all week. Confirming WV is the wildest and one of the most beautiful places we have been to in our travels across this great country!
Wednesday we actually extended one of our excursions up to a little brewery in Athens, OH. Made a nice haul from the Production Tap Room (Will post more on that in "The Haul" Forum next week) and then went and had a late lunch and a few beers at the Public House. Had a taste of Oil of Aphrodite, with about 18-20 months in fairly wet barrels; this reminded me of the first time i had BCBS back in the late 00's, man this was a well-made straight ahead bourbon forward beer.
    Cheers!

I love your recap of your travels and beer experiences. West Virginia is an incredible state, from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the valley at Harper's Ferry and all points between.

You're beers sound awesome as well. Hoping @Danmullens1 enjoys the Oil of Aphrodite I gifted him, as I thought it would really hit his stout preferences. Looking forward to hearing more about Production Tap Room.

Thanks J. Did make the trip over to Harpers Ferry HNP Tuesday. I have had an interest in American History for a long time but of course learned some new facts while there. And what a beautiful setting there with the AT "midpoint" there.
I thoroughly enjoyed the documented BA meeting in Wisconsin. Glad you were able to get there and hang out with those outstanding Advocates!
    Cheers!

If BCBS was thicccc, it would be this beer. Thickest non-adjunct stout I’ve ever had. It’s very rich and intense. So glad it’s in 12oz format. It’s really good

From Earlier but still have the remainder in can as wife drives us towards Bay Area on the I-5.
@puck1225 I can't remember ever having Storm King, but as @CarolinaCardinals pointed out i don't really review beers as often as i used to . I've only reviewed/rated maybe 1/5th of what i have had ( or 1/8th?)
It's one i hope to get to try( again ? )
Cheers to all of you here that contribute to this wonderful thread.
