Had a great trip to the NE but nice to be home with a poolside Pacifico.....

 

Burning some time before a wedding reception. Maine Lunch IPA (Amarillo, Centennial, Simcoe). Never disappoints.

Growing up in Mid-Michigan in the late 70's/early 80's we could get a case of 12 oz bottles for $3.99. If memory serves correctly it was brewed in Frankenmuth, MI. A lot of good memories and a lot of bad hangovers around this brew. Enjoy!

It's funny, it was a bargain basement cheap beer when I was at Purdue in the mid 90s, contract brewed here in Evansville, IN where I live now. I couldn't pass up a six pack when I saw it in Cincinnati last weekend. Cheers to the folks who bought back the name and are trying to put out some good local beer over there.

Agreed, it is an annual staple for me. And Burial has some interesting variants from the Skillet Donut Stout base beer that are worthy of purchasing if you live in a state Burial ships to.
