    Having one now. Very nice.

First ever pick-up at Tewksbury - as easy as everyone said. Haven’t been to a Treehouse location since February, so it’s nice to have some. I nearly missed the location because I wasn’t expecting it to be right on the main road.

I’m probably at the point where I pick up Treehouse beer about 4 or 5 times a year—I try to spread out my visits for some reason.

My favorite spot is the Deerfield location if I’m going to drink beer on site.

It was a decision with Very Green, but not being the OG Green I wanted to go with the known winner. Haha

Tree House is paying $2.1m for an abandoned lot across Rt. 38 in Tewksbury for additional parking. Definitely think they're going to need it when they open the new brewery and add in golf.

While some are going to bitch about a parking lot there, I'm all for it. This lot has been an eyesore for 20+ years now, so at least having it cleaned up will be a benefit.

Why is Tree House-Sandwich’s draft list so odd? 7 IPAs of >7.5%. 2 stouts, an oak conditioned brown, 2 Pils, Grodziskie and an Earl Grey table beer.

Had my Peacherine after golf this morning and seemed very "Nelson-ish" to me which was a good thing.

At this point 2.1m is chump change for them.

I think it’s great they purchased land to use and clean up.

But holy hell the volume of people may be massive in the warm months. I wonder if will put a little strain on them shuttling. I have to think there’s a certain sub group of people who will now be going there to play golf who couldn’t give two shits about the beer. Also imagine explaining to an older folk who wants to play golf that they need to park offsite and get into an orange shuttle with a bunch of people with coolers. Having worked at a driving range and with the course starting at age 12 until my first job at the snowboard shop I can firmly say they are the most entitled and sometimes horrible people around. No, not all of you! But it’s just another spot taken that’s a non TH consumer. So treehouse may be the first brewery who literally fills spots and makes money off of something completely non beer related and a legit sport(yes feel free to debate that term for golf as I see both sides) Nate started a brewery and is going to monetize some folks purely on the sport. Epic move

    Preach.

I do see both sides of this. I also worked at a course during the summer months in high school. Mowing lawns, weedwacking, changing holes, etc. Members complaining about making sure the "staff" cars are hidden from sight. "Sorry, Mr. [redacted] that my 1988 Chevy Blazer doesn't fit with your ugly Mercedes." That said, I think there's a nice camaraderie as a player, so long as you're not playing with (or being) a dick.

I golf and I'm curious about the course and would like to see what they've done to it and how they plan to run the place. Do I care enough to endure the shitshow it may be? Not sure yet. Maybe someone will pay me to write the article on it.

honestly think they should keep/refurbish all of those activities so kids have something to do but what do I know

Would be thrilled if they put in mini golf and ice cream there, and I think it'd do great ... But then they need another parking lot!

    Almighty Julius

King Julius is one of the best at 8.2. But I do wonder if Julius has a threshold below a TIPA. This is a 100% would need a pour before committing to a 4-pack. I don’t want it to ruin my taste for the Julius bunch. Big jump up from 8.8 Emperor to 9.4. Creeping on 10% is a lot more significant to creeping on 9% in an ipa. To me, emperor already pushed a bit over the edge. Feel this would be a lot of added sweetness. Hopefully it turns out great. Also, just making some convo on a Wednesday ha

Yeah I might quickly get there on Friday and would be interested to know what people on the boards think of it, I didn't think much of the one TH triple I've had.

Secondary question, would they pour an NA seltzer in the custom glass? My wife is driving so she's not going to have anything there but we both use the ones we have quite a bit and one more wouldn't hurt, given inevitable breakage.

Would be cool to get a 12oz 4 pack of these big beers, otherwise oof, that’s too much booze.

I love many things about Treehouse, but this 9-10% TIPA thing is not one of them. It could be just me though because I’m not really drinking any 7-8% IPAs either.

I've just taken the glass to go before with nothing in it, and they pour my ticket into a regular cup. They would have to have a NA can seltzer available for purchase though. Can't remember if those always are available at all locations...

Same but just in general, not even specifically a tree house thing. i am like 1000% on board the haze craze, but pretty much everywhere loses me with triple IPAs - they're just too sweet and boozy at a point.
